Who’s The Holy Father?

Matthew 23:9, “And don’t address anyone here on earth as ‘Father,’ for only God in heaven is your Father.”

It’s clear from the Book of Romans 3:23 no matter how good we are we will never be sinless, this further supports what Jesus said in Mark 10:18, no one is good(perfectly) except God.
Now connecting to Revelation 15:4, it says only God is Holy.

Putting on these verses together, it’s clear to know we’ve one Holy Father, His Name is God.
As I was saying my little prayer this morning, I started with, “Holy Father, Holy Jesus, Holy Spirit…” when I said Holy Father, I quickly remembered there’s a certain man who calls himself Holy Father, or moreso a group, I said no, how can a sinful man be Holy? How can a dust liken himself to Eternal Father.

A man born by a woman is never free from sin, a man born by a woman is never perfectly good and a man born by a woman can’t be Holy, Jesus denied being addressed as good, because he was in the flesh of man, and so it applies to all men.

When I say father it doesn’t relate to one’s Dad, this is biological, I am talking about someone who assumes the place of God in your spiritual life.

The Popes claim they can forgive sin, even sins yet to be committed, this makes them a Father, they claim they can transpose dead people from the land of the dead to Heaven, this makes them a Father, they claim they can change the laws of God, which they have done severally, this makes them a Father, but no man has power to do all these except God, the Holy Father.

Chike Obi was called the father of modern mathematics, Chinua Achebe the father of African literature, man can be a father in a field within the sphere of humanity, but man can’t be a father within the sphere of Divinity, this is the position the Popes assume, Holy Father, in the sense they are Gods on earth.

Jesus didn’t claim to be God on earth, He acknowledged His Father, how then do we have mortals who claim a position that’s monopoly of GOD?

A Holy Father can’t die, all those Popes who called themselves Holy Father where are they, cooling off in the grave right? Pope Francis, does he have up to 10 years to return to the dust? Then what makes him the Holy Father since he can die and rotten away.

Flesh and blood can’t be Holy Father, flesh and blood can’t be good(perfectly), when they called Jesus the Good Teacher, He told them, not him, only God is good.

Call no man Holy Father, but only your Father who’s in Heaven, pray to no man, dead or alive, but your Father in Heaven, call the name of no woman, no angel exalted or dethroned in your prayers but only your Father in Heaven.

When they ask you, who’s the Holy Father? tell them, His Name is GOD.
