Free From Them

No one can save himself from the captivity of the mighty, it takes only divine power to be free from powers of darkness.

Isaiah 49:24-25 “Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered?
But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.”

‘Mighty’ are demonic powers of darkness they exert control over humans, leading to various negative consequences, such as suffering, oppression, fear and lack of freedom.

Isaiah asked shall the people who were taken captive by the dark forces be set free, and God answered him, “Thus said the LORD, “Even the captives shall be set free.”

We have two types of captives, lawful and unlawful captives, lawful captives are humans who are responsible for their captivity, they did things which in a way gave the mighty powers of darkness charge over them.
The sins of our parents or forefathers can make us lawful captives, many go through difficult times for offences committed even before they were born.

But you see God doesn’t check who is a lawful or unlawful captive, when He rises to save, He doesn’t consider what good we did or what bad we did, because He’s a compassionate God.

As I was looking in a vision, I found myself standing in a shrine in a thick forest, I was there as a witness.
The diety feeds on human flesh, they strangle the captives and drop them on the altar of the idol, he feeds of their flesh, but you see even in the spiritual realm not every head is good for a sacrifice.

As I witnessed, it was another season of sacrifice, another captive was brought before the shrine, the servants held him by the neck, they tried so long to strangle him, but the neck was too hard to break, they broke his bones but couldn’t break his neck.

There’s a law in the realm of the spirits which states, “Not every head is good for sacrifice.”
I don’t know if you’ve heard about it? May that law defend every captive.

For so long they tried to strangle him without success, I heard a voice from the idol, it said, “This forest belongs to me, he can’t escape, I will eat him whenever or wherever he may be.”
So they left him, bones broken, and strength squished, he limped into the forest, looking for a path of escape.

No one can save himself from the captivity of the mighty, it takes only divine power to be free from powers of darkness.

Deep into the forest of hopelessness, in despair of the expectant comings behind him; he limped on for a clinch on freedom but never in a few.

Watching, I heard a worship song from the shrine of the deity, the idol began to worship the only One who is able to save the captives of the mighty, the last part of the song went like this, “… we bow down to the Name, the Lord Almighty.”

And who is the LORD Almighty? Jesus Christ, He’s the only One demons fall down and tremble in fear and worship. When a divine power comes upon carved stones and woods even the demons inside them will bow and worship.

It was a carved wood with legions of human eating demons in it, when the power higher than mighty powers descends even demons will worship the Name of the Lord.

In your days of captivity by mighty powers, may the Almighty power come for you.
As the young man heard the worship, he knew His redeemer had come, everything trying to defeat him has been defeated, all captivity was over.

Surrendered by darkness, may the Light come for rescue. Taken captive by the mighty for whatever reason or consequence, may the Almighty come for you.

In your days of darkness, may you see the light.
