Is Christianity A Religion?

Religion has committed many killings and evil more than all the wars fought in the world put together, many blame it on Christianity, but the two are different, religion isn’t Christianity, we’ve very many religious people than Christians. Religion is a manmade relationship with the things around man, while Christianity is man building a relationship with God.

“In boundless love as a Christian I read through the passage which tells us how the Lord at last rose in His might to drive out of the Temple the brood of vipers and adders. How terrific was His fight for the world against the Jewish poison. To-day, after two thousand years, I recognize more profoundly than ever before, the fact that it was for this that He had to shed His blood upon the Cross.” -Adolf Hitler

According to Adolf Hitler’s reason for killing over 6,000,000 Jews, and over 20,000,000 people was based on the above quote, he said he was fighting for God, the question becomes, are Christians mandated to kill for God?, no, people who decide do this are religious men and not Christians. Although Adolf Hitler attended the Seminary, we can’t say he was a Christian, even the priests and bishops who taught him the actions he carried out weren’t Christians but religious men.

Religion is vast, Christianity is comprehensive, religion is confusing, it drags you from here to there, around the field of laws and gnostic rules, no one can please God observing the rules of religion. Religion is man’s approach and belief system, while Christianity is man’s connection to the precepts of God. Religion has killed over 200,000, 000 people, but Christianity saves, you see the difference.

Christianity redeems man out of the bondage of religion, both are just parallel. The caveat, religion doesn’t show the way to the truth, it rather leads people away, Christianity brings people closer to God, it’s a light unto the eternal path.

The first missionaries weren’t Christians but religious men, they stole, enslaved and destroyed, the true Christian missionaries came afterwards towards the end of the slave trade in Africa.

In Christianity people died (die) in the service of God and humanity, but in religion, humans kill for self gain and ignorance. Religious men brought the Bible to Africa, and asked us to keep reading it and praying, while they looted the land, it’s not the offence of the Bible or Christianity but the offence of religious men, the Bible is pure and Christianity is just.

Anyone who in the name of Christianity commits evil is religious, he has no path with Christianity. Some parts of Africa before the coming of Christianity and the Bible were a land of idols, Christianity helped to lift the veil of idolatry in Africa, and for this Africans are thankful to God for sending his Apostles I also know very well that Christianity started in Africa before it spread to Europe, but not in all parts of Africa.

Religious men said to us it’s written “Thou shall not kill…” but they killed our ancestors, took many slaves and sold them in the market like animals.

The religious missionaries said “Thou shall not steal” but they stole our resources and stole us. The religious missionaries said to us, “Thou shall not covet your neighbour’s wife” but they raped women, married, young and old. With the cross hanging on their neck they lied, but it’s written thou shall not lie. These things were done by religious missionaries and not by Christian missionaries.

When Christian missionaries came they built hospitals, schools, they gave every piece of their lives to the service, many died in Africa due to yellow fever, they abolished the killing of twins and fetish traditions.

Christian missionaries were the second group to come to Africa, by the time they came religious missionaries had already planted seeds of religion and wrong teachings, which we’re still suffering to be free from to this day.

Remember Christ abolished the religious ways of the Jews, Christ wasn’t religious, He didn’t teach any religion, He taught the world the truth about His Father, and the way to find Him, let’s do the same, be like the Master, religion isn’t life. Christianity is life, religion takes life, religion enslaves life, just be a Christian, there is no hope in religion.
