Marriage is a system established by God, it gives the man authority over the body of his wife, and it gives the woman authority over the body of her husband.
No one has the authority to uncover the nakedness of a married woman or man except the husband or wife, any attempt for whatever reason to uncover the nakedness of married woman or man is theft according to Leviticus.
When God rebuked David over taking Bethsheba, the rebuke was mostly focused on adultery followed by the death of Uriah.

To find interest in a another man’s wife is a seed of greed and pride.
To take another man’s wife and lay with her is theft, greed, and murder, the punishment isn’t something anyone can bear.
