Beauty Pageantry – The Placing Of Grace

Christians aren’t fans of beauty pageantry because it originated from murder, it originated from romantic bloodshed.

I am not a fan of beauty pageantry for certain fit of wit, and I am not against it, God can work even through the folly of men, as we can see in the life of Esther, through beauty pageantry God used her to save the Jews from total annihilation and decimation in Persia.

Christians aren’t fans of beauty pageantry because it originated from murder, it originated from romantic bloodshed, the first time beauty pageantry was held in the New Testament the head of a righteous man was given to the winner Salome for a trophy.

Tell me what concerned the crown of beauty pageantry and the head of John? In ancient Rome and mediaeval Europe, beauty pageantry was as bloody feast, it was also same in Medes and Persia.

Looking at how it originated it’s cunningly a bloody competition because in the end the winner goes home with a human head, do you now see reason Christians don’t salute beauty pageantry.

Likewise God isn’t a fan of beauty pageantry, it’s liķewise surrounded by folly designed to only please men, why will a girl undress herself to the skin to prove she’s beautiful, where is the beauty in nakedness? At the end who do they please? The male onlookers.

But I am not here to make references to the bad side of beauty pageantry, at times God works through the folly of men to help us understand somethings, for this reason I write to you:
Where is the place of grace, where is the position of grace?

God said to Jacob, He can destroy nations for His sake, when some people read this, they call it unreal stories, but we can still see it happening around us.

The nation of South Africa conspired in a xenophobic wickedness against Chidimma.
She was ejected by the South Africans to represent them in Miss Universe after she won Miss South Africa.

What was her offence, her name Chidimma wasn’t South African, to achieve this, they altered her mother’s citizenship documents, this created a national controversy on the legitimacy of her position as a South African.

They frustrated her to relinquish her crown as Miss South Africa, at this time there was still a narrow window in the Nigerian wing of the competition, she participated, although she came a bit late but she won, grace took her to the first row.

When grace is at work, it doesn’t matter when you came, it will take you ahead of those that have been there.

Even if you don’t believe in God, look around you, the things happening are valid enough to convince you there’s God of all graces, but the problem with most humans is they lack the inner aptitude of interpretation.

If we should cast a look on the core requirements for selecting the winner, it rests of two feats; physical and mental attributes, Chidimma mentally and physically outclassed the winner, it was evident from the reactions of other girls in the contest.

When Miss Denmark was announced as the winner, Chidimma stole the show, all the other girls in the contest rushed and embraced her, the winner was almost scarcely alone, the attention both from the crowd and contestants were on Chidimma, because she’s the true winner but the crown was given to another.

I believe the unilateral decision of the judges to deny her of the crown could be due to the controversy South Africans raised against her which later turned to be false.

She’s a girl of grace, despite the fact she’s using that grace on the other lane, but it can’t nullify its place in her life.

Where is the place of grace? The place of grace is at the top not at the bottom, if the grace of God rests on you, it doesn’t matter when you started or when you came, it takes you above all heads to the top.

You can’t stay at the bottom when the grace of God is on you, grace is from Above, it keeps anyone who has it at the top.

Let that grace that lifts people to the top be activated to all who are at the bottom base of life.
