Beyond Dedication And Commitment
It isn’t only our dedication and commitment that God sees, He searches the heart, it isn’t only our services that God sees, He examines the intention of the heart.
Going early to school doesn’t means a translation of good grade at the end of the term, it’s at times ironical that early comers make poor grades, seating on the first row looking at the teacher straight on doesn’t also mean the student would take first position “best grade.”
Yes, it’s good to go early, stay committed and dedicated but what about the state of the heart? Is it also early enough to meet with the dedication of human efforts?
It isn’t only our dedication and commitment that God sees, He searches the heart, it isn’t only our services that God sees, He examines the intention of the heart.
There are people serving very well but they’re still the same people destroying the church.
There are people dedicated and committed but they’re still the same people embezzling church funds and causing confusions.
And there are people who aren’t dedicated or committed but they’re the true servants.
It’s a good thing to serve, no doubt, be dedicated, be committed and all that, but what about your heart, is it as good as your service?
This isn’t an inspirational talk or story, what I receive from the Spirit I share with you, so that you may better understand the ways of God.
She is a woman of God, has daughters and sons, they’re dedicated and committed to the service of God except but one of her sons.
He isn’t committed or dedicated to the service of God but he’ll lead the rest, he’s the Joseph of the family, he will help all of them, I sent a message about him to the woman of God, she said, “You’re right, in fact, it’s already happening.”
Further, from what I witnessed in the revelation, he isn’t committed to the things of God like others, but anytime he turns to God completely, none of his siblings can match his fire, he will be something else beyond peer competition, they call him great in the realm of the spirit.
Commitment or dedication is good, it’s a sign of loyalty, but it isn’t a sign of pure service and worship, yes God needs your commitment, but above all, He needs your heart, a pure heart.
Judas was committed and dedicated to service, as a treasurer, we could say he was always in the front, he was a member of the 12-parliament of Jesus, but his heart? Wasn’t committed as his service.
Apostle Paul wasn’t amongst the 12, but if we look at his epistles closely and the revelations he shared about Jesus, it’s clear for one to conclude he knew Jesus, a Man He never saw more than the people who were with Him for three years.
Don’t look at people and judge them because they aren’t committed and dedicated as much, David’s brothers were dedicated soldiers in the war front, but none of them could attempt to approach Goliath, it was a little boy with no military training that killed Goliath, he only went to serve them food when he saw the gory situation of his people.
Dedication and commitment doesn’t make a valid difference, the state and intention of our hearts in the service makes a solid difference, instead of checking who’s dedicated or not, first of all cleanse your heart, let it be pure enough to please the inner fellowship with God.
Outward fellowship with brothers and sisters of the Cross is good but it shall pass away, but the inner fellowship with God is eternal.
