Don’t Ask Questions From A Seer

Visiting the seer ushered in a moment of great confusion and hopelessness in the life of Saul, he broke the first commandment, “Thou shall not have any other God beside me.”

Saul committed three offences:
1. Disobedience
2. Transgression
3. Asked question from a seer

The first offence didn’t kill him, and the second did not either, although God had rejected him He spared his life in the first and second offences.

If you read verse 14 of 1 Chronicles 10, it explains very directly why God killed Saul, “And inquired not of the LORD: therefore he slew him, and turned the kingdom unto David the son of Jesse.”

Saul would have lived even after David became the King if he hadn’t consulted a seer or fortune teller, other things he did weren’t notable enough to kill him, he was pardoned to live but not pardoned to continue to be the King.

Why you mustn’t ask questions from a seer is because it makes God angry, God didn’t only kill Saul for consulting a seer, He killed all his sons, they paid for the sin of their father Saul, you see how much God hates it.

One of the things you mustn’t think is nothing is going to ask questions from Dibias, eze nwanyi, fortune tellers, and generally any form of inquiry outside God’s precepts, such ignorance can quench a generation.

Asking questions from a seer can delete entire generation, this is how much God hates it, it’s a sin children will pay for if nothing is done to separate them from that covenant.

Consulting the Dibias or the seers isn’t just asking questions, what it totally means is you entered into a covenant with the Devil, you invited calamity into your life.

If nothing is done, it shall take everything and everyone down, yes I understand there are times we run into choking confusing state of life, but that doesn’t mean we are outside the coverage of God’s love.
No condition can separate you from the coverage of God’s love, not even famine or death.

You’ve prayed but can’t hear Him, you searched His will, and can’t find, and you are tempted to ask questions elsewhere, you see, the seers won’t tell you any truth, they are masters of lies and confusion, the answer and solution they offer are destructive, because they are agents of the Devil.

Visiting the seer ushered in a moment of great confusion and hopelessness in the life of Saul, he broke the first commandment, “Thou shall not have any other God beside me.”

Saul already considered himself dead even before death came, this is how dangerous it’s to consult the seers, it opposes God’s Sovereignty and Supremacy, although we are in the era of grace, we might not face the same punishment as Saul, but there will be traces of consequences for anyone who visits the house of the seers.

When you face such problems you don’t know how to do it, just talk to God sincerely, even when answers aren’t coming, and you are losing it, just be calm and believe, God is so compassionate that He swore never to forsake you.

Waiting and not receiving any solution doesn’t mean God has forsaken you, not getting an immediate answer doesn’t mean God is silent, just be calm and believe, for He knows all things.
