Forgiveness
Forgiveness
If you desire to succeed completely in whatever you do, you must be someone who forgives, success hardly comes where there’s no forgiveness.
I had a different message this morning, but this one came up, so I switched, what I heard I share with you.
I saw a reunion between two families that have been at enmity for long; the offenders and the offended.
The offended visited the offenders, they said to them, “You wronged us, but we came to tell you, we’ve forgiven you.”
Observe the scene, the offended went to the offenders and told them they have forgiven them, it takes a pure heart to make this move, this is exactly what God demands from you, seek ways to be at peace with all men, though it may seem hard but just do it.
Why must you go to people who offended you to tell them you’ve forgiven them? Do this so that you will earn the title, son of God, for Jesus did the same for us all.
When people who offended you don’t say, “Forgive, we are sorry” go to them and make peace with them, this was the nature of King David’s heart.
You can’t become like Abraham or David in the eyes of God by prayer and fasting alone, you become like them based on the intent of your heart, those men had a pure heart, a heart that forgave everything.
If you desire to succeed completely in whatever you do, you must be someone who forgives, success hardly comes where there’s no forgiveness.
As the two families were discussing there was a cry of a baby in the inner room, it was raining, the baby was a symbol of renewed peace and friendship, when his mum brought him to the sitting room, everyone carried the baby, from one to another.
There was happiness in the house, but above this happiness, it will bring success.
And Jesus said pray for your enemies, pray for those who despise and hurt you, praying a sincere prayer for your enemies is the purest form of forgiveness, just do this and be blessed.
In your prayers call out your enemies one after another, tell God you’ve forgiven them, ask Him to bless them and you shall be blessed in return.
Let this month of October usher in blessings that come from forgiveness.
