Going To Church And Going To Heaven

God has no plan to cast man into the lake of fire, our decision does, when the pit of fire was built Adam wasn’t there in creation.

There was a notorious thief in America that year, he killed a lot of people, after search he was arrested and sentenced to live imprisonment, had no time for church because to him the church was like man’s idiosyncrasy.

Many go to church but in that great number only few are going to Heaven, we’ve about 2 billion Christians in the world, as big as it’s, the question is, in this number, how many are going to Heaven?
The multitude around Jesus weren’t looking for Jesus but solution to their problems, the number we see in the church aren’t totally people looking for God, but solution to their problems.

When they arrested Jesus even some of those people he healed and fed stoned him and spat on him, are we looking for solution to our problems or are we looking for God?

No one was allowed to visit the condemned thief not even the prison evangelists, he was totally confined, but one day in years they were able to make the prion officers allow them visit his corner, they only preached to him once not twice.

What was message from the preachers, John 3:16, they told him how much God loves him, sent His Son Jesus to die for Him, even though he loses his body to death in prison, his soul shall be saved, and the man began to cry, those tears weren’t just tears but a connection to the Cross, that was the first time he heard Jesus died on the cross to save him.

There are many humans who don’t know Jesus died on the Cross, there are many who don’t know even in this modern time Jesus is the Son of God, because no one has told them.

Years after the preachers went again to check on him, he was no longer there, he was dead, but they demanded to see his cell to know how he lived, on the wall were Bible verses from someone who didn’t attend the church ever, as they moved around the cell, they saw where he composed a Gospel song, who taught him? They copied it, the song is one of the popular songs we sing in the church today, it has been around for years and refreshing because it’s the song of the Spirit, he composed the last two stanzas before the chorus:

The love of God is greater far
The love of God is greater far
Than tongue or pen can ever tell
It goes beyond the highest star
And reaches to the lowest hell

The guilty pair, bowed down with care
God gave His Son to win
His erring child He reconciled
And pardoned from his sin
Could we with ink the ocean fil
And were the skies of parchment made

Were every stalk on earth a quill
And every man a scribe by trade
To write the love of God above
Would drain the ocean dry
Nor could the scroll contain the whole
Though stretched from sky to sky

Hallelujah 3x
O love of God, how rich and pure!
How measureless and strong!
It shall forevermore endure
The saints’ and angels’ song

That time in Eastern Europe, the Russian in our compound was going out in morning, he saw me reading my small Bible, he came to me, and said, “I always see you read this Book, who’s Yesus? His pronunciation sounded Yi, I told him, he asked who created the earth, I told him, he became interested and relaxed, so we got talking, at a point he asked me to write down the name of the Book, I wrote King James version, he said he will go find it, to him the Bible is a novel, because society he was raised in sees it as a Novel written by many Hebrew actors. He was a good boy but a victim of drug abuse, I will tell you about him later; he cleaned up at a rehab.

Some have all the years of their life to find Christ, while some have only seconds, it doesn’t matter how many years we had or have, what matters is that last decision. We may spend years doing the right things but a minute spent doing the wrong thing cancels all the good things we’ve done, it’s our relationship with God in that last moment that will count not the past relationship.

It’s brilliant enough to go to Church all the time, no doubt, and Jesus said, the good things we did before won’t matter but the last things we did in the last moment of our life, if he didn’t go to church but found Christ in the last minute of his life, every bad thing he did in the past won’t matter anymore.

If he was a thief all his life but found Christ in the last minute of his life, no doubt he’s in Heaven, but if he was a church leader all his life but couldn’t forgive in the last minute he won’t see the Kingdom of God.

God has no plan to cast man into the lake of fire, our decision does, when the pit of fire was built Adam wasn’t there in creation.

So the love of God is greater far that He forgives years of offences in just a second because He doesn’t want to see anyone there.
