Le LOOK, The Complexion Of Jesus
I meant to write about this a long time ago, but I couldn’t place it clearly not until recently I saw Jesus walking in a dusty desert, what I am about to share with you in this vision are verses of the Bible that explain it all, so it isn’t abstract or self-made.
Waking up, before me was a Man walking on a lonely desert, dusty and sandy heap, I asked, “Who is he?” I was told He’s Jesus, so I quickly got up and ran after Him, I was running to meet up but couldn’t make a closer approach, the more I ran, the more he walked deep into the desert, he was walking while I was running after Him, yet I couldn’t catch Him.
He had a bag across His shoulder, brown long robe, hair not too long, just half of the neck line.
What about His complexion? I saw His hand, dark complexion, at a point I got tired, and I stood watching him gradually vanishing out of sight, I looked on, He turned His head right, like He wanted to say, “Don’t stop, come on” a kind of checking if I was still following, this was when I saw His face, what does His face look like? Let’s see.
His face was dark in complexion, no smile or laughter, he had a focused countenance, the look of a man on serious mission.
What about His height? Not too tall, about 5.7 feet, he had a clear masculine stature.
By the power of divine vision, I have shared with you His complexion, look, hair length, height and countenance, now let’s check the Scriptures if all these are true or false.
Complexion- Jesus was a Judean Galilean according to the Gospel, Galileans are dark-brown people, according to the Bible He looked exactly like His disciples, that was why Judas needed to kiss Him so that they could properly identify Him, His complexion wasn’t different from the dark skin men of Galilee in those days, the Jews, the Pharisees and the chief priests referred to him as that man from Galilee because black skin was the identify of Galileans.
Beauty- In matters of beauty, Isaiah 53 explained he wasn’t handsome, no body desired Him, because he had no beauty on Him.
Hair length- Galileans are known for having short hair, length up to some distance half the neck, according to Paul 1 Corinthians 11:14, it was a shameful thing that time for a man to have a long hair, it was an attribute of women.
Height- He wasn’t taller than an average Galilean, he had the same height like His disciples, it was always difficult to spot Him out because he looked exactly Galilean in all appearance.
If the Son of God took black complexion, it’s clear to know there’s something about the black skin, it wasn’t a coincidence, it was directly implied, much as we know black skin withstands pain, suffering and torture, the reason wasn’t far from the pain that lied ahead on the cross and also not to create a diverted resemblance of Him already spoken by the prophets.
According to Isaiah 53 description of his countenance, he was the serious type, also looking at the type of His message he was the focused type, he wasn’t always laughing and smiling, the sight of what lied ahead overwhelmed Him.
Now, I have shared with you the following things:
The physical nature of Jesus.
His complexion.
Countenance.
Height.
Hair type and length.
Look.
Although the world hijacked all these, they made a movie and picture of Him as a white man just to defend the idea nothing good can ever come from Africa.
Hollywood has been deceiving the world about the physical appearance of Jesus, some of those men who acted the Jesus film aren’t even Christians, majority of the actors and producers at Hollywood are racists, at the slightest opportunity they paint Africa evil.
They paint the Devil black, meaning Africans are the Devil, and they paint Jesus white, meaning the whites are angels, whereas the Devil according to Ezekiel is as white as the star.
So if you are dark in complexion it doesn’t make you a lesser race or person, even the Son of God was black, don’t take a walk to bleach your skin white or begin to feel inferior like many black in the world do, it’s a brainwash.
When anyone calls you black or make mockery of your skin color remember Jesus and the His disciples were black, according to Isaiah, Jesus was so much despised because of his ugly look.
There’s no problem with ugliness, no problem with complexion, black or white, it doesn’t count, what counts is your place in God, physical appearance has no contribution, David was a little man but he killed a giant, just know your place in Him.
