How To Measure A Man’s Character?

So not everyone who is kind is truly kind. Kindness is a character revealed in the face of difficult moments. Until that moment arrives, you can’t tell a man’s true character.

The nature of a man doesn’t reveal when he’s comfortable or when things are going right with him, but in the choice he makes when he’s facing trials and difficult moments.
The decision we make when we are comfortable can’t speak of who we are; decisions made when all things are going well can’t reveal one’s inner personality.

Anyone can appear good and gentle in character when life is easy, but our true character is revealed when hard circumstances come.
People maintain calm composure when life is smooth, and when life turns rough, they lose every human composure, patience, and kindness.

If you can suppress any animalistic nature that pops up in the head during the moment of difficult circumstances, then you have paid your dues to humanity.
Character takes shape during our weak moments. During this phase, our true character is born. It takes discipline and the Spirit of God to be kind and reason like a human in the face of tough circumstance or in our lowest state.

Search for a man’s character when he faces the most difficult moment of his life, search for a man’s kindness when he’s in his lowest state.
If he isn’t good in his lowest state, then he can’t be when all things turn out right. Seek the true personality of a man in his lowest state.

Almost every King is excellent, calm and gentle, search for his character when times are rough.
That people are kind when everything is working for them doesn’t mean they are kind; they may only be expressing themselves from the abundance of their barn. Can they give bread to the poor when they have just a loaf of bread on their table?

I want you to be kind even when you don’t have enough to be kind to yourself. You don’t need to have 100 loaves of bread before you give some to others. If you live this way, then you can never have an increase or surplus. Jesus demonstrated that with the lad’s bread and fish.

The rich man said to Jesus, “I keep the 10 commandments” this means he also gave to the poor, but Jesus went ahead and said to him, sell all you have and give the proceeds to the poor, it was a test of loyalty to God or Cesare, a test of his true character, despite the fact he gave to the poor, but in that difficult moment, he proved he was selfish and never selfless.

So not everyone who is kind is truly kind. Kindness is a character revealed in the face of difficult moments. Until that moment arrives, you can’t tell a man’s true character.
Run after kindness even when life treats you in the most gruesome manner.
