Is One-Tenth Always Enough?

One-tenth is the least you can give, the Apostles and early Christians gave their all, we read it, don’t we? Why do we have some Christians who find it difficult to understand tithing.

Let’s be Christians on this matter, the Bible says Abraham gave one-tenth, it doesn’t mean it must be 1/10 of your income, the Bible isn’t a literature book we must read in between its lines, the Bible is more of a figurative book, you need to add pieces to pieces to understand it.

The same Abraham who first gave God one-tenth, later in his journey with God gave him everything he had, that’s he paid ten-tenth, I say everything, this further advances us to understand the exact definition of tithe, it’s beyond one-tenth.

Tithe is simply an act of worship to demonstrate you love God, it shouldn’t be only monetary, Abraham didn’t give Melchizedek money, so tithe goes beyond money, he gave him gifts and treasures.
If you truly love God, give Him gifts from your income, it could be monetary or anything, you don’t have to measure it like 1/10.

Abraham always paid tithes for everything in his house, he didn’t measure it, give God what you feel like you are comfortable with in your spirit, it should come out of the extent you love Him, no measurements here.

One-tenth is the least you can give, the Apostles and early Christians gave their all, we read it, don’t we? Why do we have some Christians who find it difficult to understand tithing.

It isn’t wrong not to pay tithe, but it’s also a good thing to do, so do the good thing.
Abraham gave his all, Isaac was all he had, he gave him all to God at Moriah, this remains the purest form of tithe ever from Adam till the world’s end.

I hope you now have an understanding of what the tithe actually represents, so I say again, if you love God, pay your tithe starting from one-tenth to ten-tenth depending on how the Spirit leads you, but remember it shouldn’t be forced or influenced in any form.

I hope anyone who reads this will have a change of mind as it regards tithe.
