Let’s Talk About True Love

“Then they kissed each other and wept together–but David wept the most.42Jonathan said to David, “Go in peace, for we have sworn friendship with each other in the name of the LORD, saying, `The LORD is witness between you and me, and between your descendants and my descendants forever.”‘ -1 Samuel 20

Saul chased David about with sword and soldiers, but David didn’t say to his friend Jonathan, go your way, for your father chases me about to kill me, nor did Jonathan plot against David.

After making plans on how to ambush David, Jonathan revealed the plans to David.

The love Jonathan had for David was beyond the throne of Israel, after Saul the next in line was supposed to be Jonathan, if we should see it like humans, Jonathan was supposed to join forces with his father to kill David, because he was a threat to the throne, his inheritance.

Jonathan’s love was beyond family, he loved David more than anything and everyone in his family.

Can we still find such love de nos jours?

I was looking in a vision this morning, I saw a man, they said to him, “The girl you want to marry is a skeleton” he responded, “Let me go and see” he got into the room, held her by the shoulder looking to see the skeleton, after a while, they sat, and strange things began to happen, the light went off, she turned into a skeleton.

Instead of running away, he held her firmly and said, “Please don’t leave me, let’s become skeletons together.”

I watched the female skeleton turn back into a girl, this time a better girl than before.
True love can transform all evil to good, true love conquers every wrong, no matter how bad she’s, true love can change it all.

True love isn’t dying for someone but believing in someone despite every bad thing you were told or heard about them.

True love starts by believing in someone beyond belief, beyond every envy, beyond every weakness, and beyond every shame.

They said to Jonathan, you aren’t going to be the King after your father, your friend David has been anointed the King, upon hearing that he wasn’t angry, not jealous, didn’t plan any hurt, instead he kissed him, yes embraced someone who will take over the kingdom from him.

True love isn’t always a man-to-woman thing, true love is a sincere trust and loyalty.
When you want to understand true love in terms of man and woman, look at Jacob and Rachel, ordinarily he would have left with Leah and be happy but he stayed for another 7 years for the love of Rachel.

True love often leads to a sacrifice even against one’s timing and plans.
It takes a sincere heart to love truly, you can’t find true love in an impure heart, who sees the heart? And who knows the depth of the heart? Only God knows, to find loyalty and sincerity like that of Sarah, ask God to lead you.

There’s no woman like Sarah from Adam till the Revelation, not even Eve can be compared to her, she’s the ideal standard and yardstick of sincere loyalty and obedience.

Her loyalty to Abraham was unmatched; even the people in that era couldn’t understand her sincerity.
See it this way, you travelled to an unknown land with your husband, and he says to you, “Gozəl please I will sell you to this human merchants, you’re too fair in beauty, men of this land are known for killing people if they find their wife attractive, let me sell you and also make some fortunes and move on.”

Sarah agreed, Abraham sold her to the human traffickers, they took her to the king, who in return gifted him treasures, and Abraham became instantly wealthy, the gifts were too much because Sarah was a stunning glow of beauty.
Remember this happened twice at different lands, Sarah never stopped calling Abraham my lord.
Abraham received the gifts and moved on with his life with the other servants.

Sarah was gone, now the wife of Abimelech, no hope of ever seeing Abraham again, she was happy Abraham would be safe from hurt, happy he would be happy even without her, happy Abraham had become wealthy from the proceeds of her self-merchandise.

At the age God took her away, Abraham was heartbroken; he buried her in a space as large as Norway, there’s no woman ever buried like Sarah, no king, no queen. Abraham fully acknowledged her loyalty and sincerity.

A wife is important to her husband not because she’s beautiful, but because she’s obedient and sincere.
Will your husband appreciate your loyalty? Will he acknowledge your sincerity as a wife? Will he go miles for your sake?

Who is Sarah? That woman who obeys her husband completely even when he’s wrong, that woman who listens when her husband is talking, that woman who doesn’t force herself to lead her husband.

Husbands find it hard to love a wife who isn’t obedient, obedience attracks love, sincerity and trust attracts sacrifice, be obedient, sincere and humble like Sarah and you’ll have an Abraham.
