Make A Promise
While she prayed she made promises; there are times God expects us to make a promise in order to show forth His power.
They said to her she’s dead, the Doctors confirmed it, but she said no, I have lost two of my children before her, I won’t lose this one, the crowd tried to convince her to bury her, she held unto the dead baby in her arms, her body grew completely cold and pale, it was evident no life was left in her anymore.
24 hours passed she still held unto the dead child into the second day close to 48 hours, in the midst of this great mourning and distress, she remembered a church, on that second day she carried the dead child to the church, placed her on the altar and began to wail and pray, the brethren gathered and began to pray, towards the late hour of the second day, the dead child sneezed, she came back to life.
While she prayed she made promises; there are times God expects us to make a promise in order to show forth His power.
She said, “This one will serve you” God craves for service and worship, He can pause the earth and show forth His power for His servant.
I call her Oly mma mma 1, she celebrates her 26th birthday, she was the dead infant, she’s a daughter of Zion begotten by the promise of divine service, and from that day, the Spirit of Lord has been hovering around her, her mum fulfilled the promise, she raised her in the way of the Lord, this seed led to repentance and salvation at tender age; she commands spiritual power and the Holy Ghost works in her.
Today in my own little way, I remember this girl begotten by promise, as she celebrates, may she know she’s a daughter of promise, as death couldn’t intimidate her into the grave nothing ever will.
Above all these I pray she lives not to just live but to fulfil her destiny according to the promise made by her mum.
Make a promise over your children, make a promise over everything that concerns you and you’ll see how jealous God can be.
God can not overlook a promise especially when it’s made out of a clear intention, just make a promise over it all and see God show up quickly.
