Marriage, Why It Suffers

One of the greatest activities of man that distracts him is marriage, humans are emotional beings, anything that affects our emotions positively shapes us.

Marriage is the peak of every objective emotion, marriage is the highest point of a relationship, if anything affects the marriage, it surely affects the person directly.

A wrong marriage can destroy your destiny, steal the trophies of your future, render you downcast and weak to think straight.

He is longer the man you used to know, he was cool and gentle in the first place, now he’s become your nightmare, he isn’t the problem, he doesn’t know what he’s doing, the Devil wants to get at you through him, the Devil knows if he attacks your marriage, he will destabilize your relationship with God, he wants to get you fixed on solving your marital problems instead of getting close to God.

At fellowships, listen closely, the majority of the women there came for reasons related to suffering relationships, that’s what the Devil wants, Good night you’re praying for a renewed hope in your home, what about other things? Is marriage now the summary of your essence?

Listen, if you don’t understand why the Devil attacks your marriage, you will spend half of your entire life only praying for a stable marital bliss while you haven’t built a strong tie with God, the only thing God hears from you is your marriage, your home, what about your life? What about your destiny, marriage is just one part of your life, what about other things about you? What about your spiritual life? The Devil simply wants you to focus on solving marital issues while everything is abandoned.

Pray God for a stable marriage but remember your life is worth more than a million marriages, so pray God for your life, pray God for your spiritual growth, pray God to show you the path of your destiny, let not the challenges of marriage distract you from pursuing your dream, marriage is a dream, a one time dream after all, but you still have several unattended dreams outstanding.

I know it’s difficult to forget marital challenges and focus on other things which are also important aspects of life because we’re humans, but at least try and balance it all, give attention also to other things, problems don’t last, they will go, yes they will end, because there’s a promise.

The Devil intentionally plants problems in marriages to take people captive in emotional imbalance, psychologically when one’s emotion is troubled the mind is weakened to respond to every other objective reality.

Let not the challenges of marriage distract you from the life of your life, let not marital challenges be your everlasting prayer, give it your best attention, but remember marriage is an earthly parameter it all ends here, there’s nothing like husband or wife in Heaven, let it not distract you from the journey.

There is a life higher than marriage, a life of your destiny and a life of your relationship with God, build on it, about the problems, they don’t always last long.
