Mercy Defeats Rejection
Mercy is for the meek at heart, let mercy defeat every rejection and place you above the thoughts of men.
The world will reject you, even yourself will reject you, don’t take into account what anyone or the world is saying, don’t listen to the voices popping out from your head, for God hasn’t rejected you, this is all that matters.
Samuel went to the house of Jesse on God’s instruction to find a King, Jesse assembled his 7 sons, and search began, from the first to the last, but none was worthy of the crown.
At this moment it mostly appeared unsure to Samuel if Jesse’s family was the chosen one, and he asked, “Are these all your sons?” Jesse remembered the one he always sent to the bush to keep sheep.
Understand this, David was rejected by his father, his brothers and the community, because of the untrue circumstance his mother was accused of, he was treated like an illegitimate child and a slave.
In his Psalm about his childhood, he explained how his brothers cast him off the table and threw food at him like a dog, David ate from the ground while his brothers mounted the table, that was how much they hated him.
Every evening returning from keeping the flock of his father, at the city gate his peers composed a song of mockery for his dishonour.
They accused him of stealing, for the sake of peace he accepted, there was no one to speak for him, in his family no one, outside his family no one, his companion were the sheep and his flute.
At the other side, God was searching the heart of David, what did God find? He found meekness, forgiveness and thankfulness in the face of rejection, animosity, and adversary.
It isn’t really what you are going through that God sees, He can change all things in a second, What He searches is your heart, He expects you to be thankful, meek, humble, forgive, and cheerful.
No one knows tomorrow, no one can see tomorrow except by the power of God, only God knows the head that will wear the crown, treat no one like a dog, know ye not that the mercy of God is with them that are lowly and rejected?
Since you can’t see tomorrow, treat everyone kindly, especially strangers, the kind things you did today, even when you’re gon, your children shall reap of it.
When Samuel heard there was one not in the number Jesse called , he commanded them not to sit until he arrives, after a steep search, a rudy nomadic tattered child was before Samuel, so humble and so beautiful in and out, God said, “Anoint him, he’s the one.”
The people who rejected him stood and watched as he was anointed the King. Who can reject a King? That was the end of every rejection.
God is not man, He doesn’t think like man, how does He think? His thoughts are merciful, His ways are merciful, and His plans are merciful.
Mercy is for the meek at heart, let mercy defeat every rejection and place you above the thoughts of men.
That same God who saw the heart of David shall see your heart, and He will have mercy on you.
I see you, they treat you like a dog because you’ve no one, but hear the declaration, that same God who anointed David shall anoint your destiny above every human rejection.
