Does anyone make plans to breathe?
Does anyone make plans to drink water?
Does anyone make plans to walk on the surface of the earth?
These things are priceless and invaluable yet they are given freely.
If it’s true we’ve received the best without thinking or asking, it means all things have already been given freely, all we need to do is believe.
The bird of the sky doesn’t need security to keep its life.
The deer of the mountain doesn’t hire a security to keep its life.
The fish in the water need no security to swim around.
All these are free, the Lord protects them all, if God is so merciful to care for birds and grasses, won’t He be merciful more than enough to care and protect people He made in His image comme ça.
Salvation is the costliest of all needs, it’s also given freely to all who believe.
Jesus said to them, “Don’t worry about what to eat or wear…” He made references to the lilies in deserted mountains, they seem to be of no use yet He cares about them.
When Jesus said don’t worry about what to eat, it doesn’t necessarily mean you shouldn’t worry, it’s a reminder that God cares about you more than your thoughts.
There are people who worry and think from morning till evening without putting a reasonable meal on their table, and there are people who don’t worry that much but provisions are made, it’s not our efforts that put food on the table, it’s His promise to provide all we need.
