The God That Defends
Even when we are wrong, He defends us, God can’t abandon you because you did the wrong thing, or made mistakes.
Abraham sold Sarah out to men twice, and collected gifts and money in return, it was a wrong thing to do, but God defended him, His anger was ready to destroy a nation for Abraham’s mistakes.
Isaac his son did the same, God defended him, Jacob went about deceiving people, God defended him, even in his mistakes God said to him, “You are my own, my chosen one.”
So God can’t abandon you because of one mistake, He can’t condemn you because of things you didn’t do right, He’s so loving that He defends the guilty.
We serve a God who stands in for lawful captives, we serve a God who says to thieves go you never stole anything, let me face your accusers, we serve a God who says to the condemned, I set you free.
The world and everything in it can abandon you, but the love of God can’t abandon you, this is the only thing you should sure of God will defend you no matter how wrong you are.
If your father is a soldier, he can only defend before civilians.
If your father is a Doctor, he can defend you to some extent before illness.
If your father is a lawyer, he can defend before the judges in certain cases.
Your earthly father can defend you in some things to some little extent, but your Heavenly Father depends on you in all things even before death.
May God who defends defend you in all things, He will defend your marriage, business, career, health, and conscience, and may He defend everything and everyone that makes you happy.
I personally call Him the God that defends me because when I am wrong in wrong situations I fear not for I know He will defend me completely as always.
Observe the fishes in the water, do you think they are there on their own? God keeps them, the beasts and animals in the field God looks after them, even the stones without life God cares for them, do you think this same God can abandon people He made in His image? Do you think He can abandon you?
All He wants from you is to recognise Him, I write to you this way out of personal experience, and I learned to call Him, “The God who defends.”
For every mockery, shame, weakness, abandonment, poverty, humiliation, gossip, failure, rejection etc., may the God who defends defend you.
