Sin
The Law And Grace
Righteousness can’t be found in the law, as no man has the strength to earn righteousness based on the law.
The law was given to reveal and multiply sin, the law produced only sin, it was very weak to foster reconciliation and forgivness.
According to Romans 5:20, the law does only one set of thing; it increases sin.
The law is sin revealer
The grace is sin stopper
No man has ever kept the Law, not even Moses who received it, he was judged and killed by the Law.
When God looked down from Heaven and saw the Law only multiplied sin, He sent down His Grace to replace the Law and stop sin.
When the Grace came, the Law wasn’t comfortable with the replacement, so the Law gathered itself and persecuted Him to the Cross.
Upon this bloody-red covered Cross, the Grace removed the yoke of the law on our necks, and gave man the privilege to call ABBA FATHER.
Righteousness can’t be found in the law, as no man has the strength to earn righteousness based on the law.
What Jesus did was to absorb all the punishments and condemnations stated in the law, and He purified the law into a form that stops sin, I call it the Grace, for it’s written there’s no condemnation for those who are in Him i.e., there’s no condemnation under the Grace.
The purification of the law passed through His Blood; when the Law passed through His Blood a refined material easy for all to afford was produced.
In Grace there’s no sin, where there’s Grace there’s no sin, no dot of sin resides in His Grace.
Instead of counting and keeping record of your offences, why not ask for His grace.
The Law helps you remember all the wrong things you have done, the Law accuses your conscience, it makes you feel bad, but the Grace is sin stopper, it wipes off the condemnation of sin that you may hardly remember it.
It’s the Grace that makes you a saint, it’s the grace that makes you righteous not how right you are.
The Grace did everything, it perfected everything, it stopped every sin, again, it helps us to resist temptation that may lead to sin.
Before any temptation the Grace is there to assist you to resist, even after the temptation if eventually you fell, it isn’t the end of the world, the Grace is still there to lift you up.
