Walk It With Him

The plan of God for us doesn’t come on a smooth lane, it comes on the lane of thorns and tears.
The tears aren’t there to break us, they mend and and train us into becoming that figure God wants.
If a gold isn’t washed from dirt and burnt in the fire it can’t be appealing to the eyes.
God let’s pass through fire and storm to reassure us of His unending grace and love.

Yes the fire burns; fire of problem, trouble, sickness, loss, betrayal, pain, sorrow, etc.
But hear me out, I don’t know what your fire is, I don’t know what is burning you out, but what I know is God is with you in that fire, and He can’t allow you to be consumed by that fire.

His love is endless, His ways are full of compassion and when your purification and training are over, He will lead you out of that fire and keep your feet on a higher ground, so that the world will know there is a God Above who created the Heavens and Earth and all powers belong to Him.

It isn’t easy to do the will of God, it isn’t easy to follow His plans.
Even Adam having known of God’s will and plan for his life he still couldn’t keep – it’s a difficult thing to do the will of God.

But blessed are those who know His will and do it, for they shall fulfill purpose.
If anyone tells you doing the will of God is fun and simple, it’s lie, the biggest challenge of man is to know the will of God and do it.

It hurts to do the will of God, His will is never easy, it hurts, it breaks the heart.
The will of God is totally against our will, the will of God at times doesn’t show up in the first phase of life, often it comes at that time God has chosen. Paul was a Pharisee and a Sanhedrin till 50 years when God revealed His will to Him.
It doesn’t matter when God chose to reveal His will to us, whenever it comes, drop everything and follow it.

On that afternoon, while I stood before the Presence of God waiting to hear His plans and will for my life, already I had a plans I was working on, I needed Him to tell me more and support me on that plan, but what I heard was different and like a thorn on my feet. God said to me, look at that seat, I turned, my Bible was on it, He said, pick the Bible, go into the world and tell them about me, this is all my will for you. I was sad and disappointed, it was a sorrowful moment, a moment of unprepared tears, because what He told me was opposite of what I want for myself.

But what can I do? If it was my earthly father I would have refused just as I refused to study English as a single honor, but this One is God, the Creator of all things, how can I turn Him down or snub Him like I have always done to people.

I don’t know what your plans are, I don’t know what you’ve chosen to do with your life, but I want you to seek the will and plan of God, it will be tough but in the end you will be fulfilled.
Go through it, no matter how it hurts, surrender to His plans, trust the process, everything will be fine, in Jesus’ Name.
