?What God Asked Me

John the Baptist was heart broken in his prison cell, he stop praising God, he abandoned his assignment, in weeks Herod took his head off, now look at a similar prison experience of Paul and Silas.

A few years ago, problems engulfed me like water reaching up to my head, I was too weak due to problems, so I went to ask God questions, if at all He still sees me, if at all He knows I exist, and if at all He hasn’t abandoned me.

While I stood before His presence at Sunday service, with all the questions in my heart, the man of God faced me, after reading from Matthew 21:2, “Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me.”

God spoke to me directly through his mouth, “What have you done for me, with all the wisdom I gave you, what have you done for me?” He went on to say, “Even a donkey was of service to me on my way to Jerusalem, what have you done for me?” The question kept coming.
At one point, the man of God came down from the altar, pointing at me in the face, “What have you done for me?” the sermon asked.

I had to put aside my questions and focus on His questions, and I never bothered Him with questions anymore from that day on.
No matter how tough the going becomes, I just focus on what He wants me to do, the problems will always go back to where they came from.

As the sermon went on, I was sober, I went to ask questions without knowing God had some questions for me and had been waiting for me si longtemps to come close.
It’s not what we are going through that God is so interested in; He is interested in our worship, He is interested in the assignment He has given us.

Tears has never solved any problem, complaints have never solved any problem, worries can’t solve the slightest problem, just worship Him, focus on the assignment He has given you and see the problems go away.

John the Baptist was heart broken in his prison cell, he stop praising God, he abandoned his assignment, in weeks Herod took his head off, now look at a similar prison experience of Paul and Silas.

It wasn’t the prison walls that held Paul and Silas bound, God was interested in their worship, as they raised their voices and praised, the chains and doors collapsed.

When you overlook your problems and focus on the assignment, God will take care of your problems.
The best cure for every problem we face is worship, thank Him even in your darkest moments, He sees your challenges, and He equally sees your heart, be grateful no matter how tough the issue is and you’ll be fine.
