Where There’s No Respect Or Obedience

A man contacted me, he said, “I am having problems with my wife, she doesn’t respect or obey me” I asked him, what’s her reason, he said, he couldn’t place it, so I asked him to tell his wife call me.
She explained lots of things why she doesn’t respect her husband, I share that with you that you may learn from it.

Mrs. XYZZY narrated the reason she can’t respect or obey her husband is because he doesn’t reason like a man, according to her she reasons better than him, a kind of he has a low IQ in such manner his wife directs him on what to do, she doesn’t feel comfortable being the one leading a man who’s supposed to lead her, she considers it disadvantageous.

As we were speaking she told me she’s leaving the marriage to find a man she can obey and respect; a man who reasons better than her.

As a husband, your reasoning and ideas should be higher than hers, if every time she gives you ideas on what to to, you don’t have any idea of your own, believe me, her obedience and respect would be a difficult thing.

It’s higher reasoning that makes you the man not muscle and strength, she expects you to be ahead of her in ideas and thoughts, so that she can grow.

Sarah respected Abraham a lot that she called him ‘My lord’ which means the one who owns me, Abraham earned it not because he was Abraham, he saw things Sarah couldn’t see in years and he led her in the path of perfection, his reasoning was way higher than Sarah’s.
Sarah didn’t challenge him for once, she didn’t question him for once, she didn’t display any beam of disobedience, because she knew Abraham was a man of great understanding and can’t mislead her to do any wrong.

Every husband needs a good understanding to lead his wife in order to earn her obedience and respect.
God gave man higher understanding which puts him in the position as the leader and to earn respect from his wife.

How can you find respect easily from a woman whose reasoning is better than yours? it’s a difficult thing to obtain obedience from a woman whose reasoning weighs higher than yours, what then makes him a man when he can’t reason like a man or talk sensible enough like a man? his wife asked me.

She narrated most of the woes and the challenges she has faced so far were all due to the fact she’s with a man who can’t lead her, a man she reasons better than.

When you find yourself in that bracket where your wife has higher understanding than you, ask God to give you understanding if not for any other thing but to lead her and earn your respect.
Although it doesn’t matter to so many whether her husband has higher or lower understanding than hers, but where it matters to her, then it’s a problem.

It’s a secret between his wife and I, I didn’t say to him, hey man your wife said the reason she doesn’t obey you is because you have low reasoning, that would be as deep as silent murder you know.
Don’t lead her like she’s a puppet, she’s a human created in the image of God, obedience and respect can’t be earned by force, they are earned by understanding, consideration and care.

Let there be the needed understanding and reasoning for husbands to lead their wives in such a manner to earn their respect and obedience.
