There are 68 places in the Bible where the word saints is used, it refers to the living who have received Christ, and it’s always used in plural form, referring to a group of people set aside for the work of God.

The word comes from the Greek hagios, which means “consecrated to God,” in a simple term a Christian, the very moment you accept Jesus as your Saviour by faith, you’re a saint right there, this is the Gospel standard.

Saints are Christians who revere, worship, and pray to God, but what have they taught you? They taught you to pray to dead people crowned saints instead of God, they make you revere dead people, and they also make you worship men named saints instead of God, I hear it all when I listen to the chants; every Christian in good standing is a saint.

I come to you, what is the right thing to do? following the teachings of men or the teachings of God? Is it worth it to worship dead humans?

I listen to your prayer lines, you pray to saints, are saints God? Do dead people have the power to answer prayer, isn’t it written only God answers prayer and no one else?

A saint is a Christian with a godly character, they are people who are on the journey to Heaven, called to serve, revere, and worship God just like we do in our personal lives.

Do not revere, pray, or worship a human like you just because s/he was canonized a saint, canonization and everything about it isn’t a Christian tradition.

People can’t be made saints by mortals, but we believe we become saints by faith in Christ Jesus and by living a godly life in life till the time of death.

If your father or grandfather lived a godly life, they are saints wherever they are, so you don’t need anyone’s permission to call them Saint Nwokoye.

Even Roman emperors who didn’t meet Christ, who lived and died in their wickedness were made saints, the emperors who persecuted Christians, imprisoned them, and threw many into the den of lions were made saints, the emperors who killed 150 million Christians around Europe were also made saints, do you now understand what I am talking about, that no man has the power to make one a saint.

Not even God has the power to make one a saint, talk more of mortals, we become saints by living a life that pleases Him, apart from this, there is no other way to become a saint, no man has the power to declare you a saint.
