Why Jesus Didn’t Choose A Female Apostle?

The three Marys and some other women mentioned loved Jesus that they were ready to die with Him, but none was chosen as an Apostle in the 12.

When they arrested Him all the men ran away, one even dropped his robe and varnished unclad, when they crucified Him, only three women and John were at the foot of the Cross weeping, what about others?
The three Marys, John 19:

1. Mary, His mother
2. Mary Magdalene
3. Mary, the wife of Cleophas, the brother of Joseph, Virgin Mary’s Husband.

When they put Him in the tomb, His disciples and friends went back to their former businesses, but the three Marys remained, sweeping and decorating the tomb.

The three Marys and some other women mentioned loved Jesus that they were ready to die with Him, but none was chosen as an Apostle in the 12.

By human reasoning, Jesus should have chosen the women who were there but when He rose, He chose the men who weren’t there, He searched and called back those who ran away and denied Him.
Why did Jesus choose the ones who abandoned Him and the assignment? People who ran away and went back to their businesses were chosen instead.

Because those men who ran away were the ones chosen by His Father for the spread of the Gospel, further women don’t represent the tribe of Israel, in spiritual arithmetic the 12 men meant the Light has come upon the 12 tribes; those men were the light bearers.

And that light which they bore witnessed to the 12 tribes that the Messiah had come.
To bear that light as as Apostle came with heavy prices not meant for a woman: intense persecution, suffering and death in a gruesome manner.

And I would add, to be of service to God completely, the woman should be married to a man who believes, if she marries a man who doesn’t believe it would be difficult to be an Apostle in freedom, but that doesn’t mean a woman should become celibate in order to be an Apostle, she needs to be married to a man who believes.

A woman who has a calling or something to do for God should endeavour to marry a man who believes, if she marries a man who doesn’t believe the calling is lost, she has missed her purpose in life.

The Apostolic assignment of a woman doesn’t depend on her, it depends if her husband believes and is ready to support her to fulfill that calling, when God wants to call a woman to serve He equally calls her husband, because without calling her husband she may not succeed, the woman is under authority, if she is single, she’s under her father’s authority, if she’s married, she’s under her husband’s authority, if the man doesn’t believe, what would happen? Of course you know the calling won’t work that much.

Every woman is under an obligation of obedience, you can’t become an Apostle against your husband’s wish, that’s disobedience, if he doesn’t believe, that’s the end of it.

If you observe closely, you would notice, some girls when they were single, they were Holy Ghost daughters, got married, the fire in them died quietly, what suddenly happened? The man she married doesn’t believe, every woman needs support in every area of her life, her husband is like her best friend, if he doesn’t have that ability to lift her hand going, she will collapse along the way.
So far I believe you’ve understood why Jesus didn’t choose a female Apostle:

1. A woman can’t make up a tribe.

2. To be an Apostle in the days of the Apostles came with heavy price not fit for a woman.

3. In the Hebrew tradition, it was forbidden for a woman to speak on matters concerning religion and belief.

4. A woman is under authority of her husband, if the man doesn’t believe then her calling and assignment will be impossible to achieve, so for a woman to be an Apostle, her husband must be a believer, or better an Apostle, even if at all he doesn’t believe but he can let you exercise some spiritual freedom, it means a lot.

If he isn’t a believer, he may not understand the vigils, camping, going to the mountain, he may consider evangelism as visiting and talking to strangers.

I will find time to talk about marriage and purpose later.
